TTT Weapon Rennaisance

This is the name of my "project", of making many guns for TTT. I will as well edit existing weapons, and to prevent those from bugging up on gmod updates i will put those in a "backup" folder in the server too(to prevent you from having to rely on me to get TTT's already existing guns to be fixed after a gmod update.)

Current to-do list is at the bottom, for the guns already added feel free to leave feedback.

I made one previously which was for the Detective only but I had trouble with it and eventually got bored. I still have the code and the logo I made in PS if anyone is interested.

Also, you can test weapons in singleplayer TTT (as I did with all of my guns such as the Golden Gun)

It wasnt a detective only weapon, and the code looked like the author didnt know if he made a SMG or a big pistol. Plus, he used some lines that are useless on TTT.

EDIT: And you cant know how much the gun damages on singleplayer :L

Ill see to making a traitor TMP when i get back. It'll have similar stats to the mac, but obviously be silent.
I didnt get what you meant by "AR" though.

Think i might do a "sig 552" for anyone to find, while a sig 550 sniper for detectives only. Or other way around.

Made the MP5:
Similar stats to the mac10, but slower firerate, higher damage and slightly lower accuracy.
Known bugs: None.

Made the TMP:
Almost an exact copy of the mac10, but silenced. As it cant be hidden like other silenced weapons, it is actually slightly more powerful than the mac10.
Known bugs: Ironsights bug up until you shoot it once(at getting it, and after reloading it.) I dont know what's causing it, if anyone knows why its happening then i would like some help.
Download link: Adding after the bugs are fixed and the gun is balanced properly.

EDIT: I feel like a retard, but i cant for the love of god find out how to mirror the famas viewmodel to make it look less....retarded

Made small changes to mahoney's guns(added ironsights to revolver and golden gun, made silenced m16 and silenced sniper come with ammo. Also fixed revolver sound and lowered max ammo by one clip.)

Soon finishing the TMP and Famas, and i've started on the SG500. The snipers will have the same scope as the scout until i figure out how to make my own scopes that wont look retarded.

No, no its cool what you've done. Its just the principle. Keep the changes, they sound good.
But why the lower Rev clip? I mean, the amount in the barrel is the amount I made it? And if youre editting my weaps, fancy making an icon for the revolver? I was bored and I really couldnt be bothered to open CS3 Razz

I didnt edit the amount of bullets per clip, i edited the extra clips you get from 4 to 3 >.>

Anyhow, when i get to making icons for my custom guns i'll make one for the revolver too.

Oh, i just uploaded the edited guns, alongside my MP5, traitor TMP and the SG550. Soon uploading the Famas. I would appreciate if you guys kept an eye out for random spawns and tested the guns out, until i get to rearming the maps themselves with them.

Made the SIG SG-552, a detective only SMG that is very accurate and has a sniper scope. It is supposed to be slightly better than other guns, as it is a detective weapon and the dets seriously lack a good weapon.
Finished the famas, i feel like a retard after finding out how to prevent the flip.
Fixed the SIG SG-550, i managed to upload a old lua which had a really weird error in it(crappy recoil, broken firerate)
Made the flaregun have 10 shots, not 4. Viable to burn a lot more bodies now.

To-do list:
-Look at the current traitor AK47 lua to check if theres anything to improve.
-Make another SMG. (Still considering which one to add.)
-Make icons for my custom guns, alongside mahoney's revolver.
-Benelli M3 shotgun.

Also considering making the AK47 available to anyone, instead adding a GALIL or similar to traitor only.(if i am allowed to by mahoney and simmy)

Not meaning to be rude but your TMP is a bit overpowered, especially on maps where people can't get proper guns like temple and richland, and it's also about four hits to kill someone.

If you're going to change the TMP, I'd say that it should either come with ONE clip instead of two, and either have decreased clip size or a decreased damage output but they're just my ideas. Smile

Mhm, ill see to changing it once simmy has contact with his fastDL manager.

And dont worry, i myself know that the guns arent perfect, and may need altering, so feel free to say ANY thoughts about the guns.

Re-worked To-Do list:
-Make assault rifle ammo and P90 ammo
-P90 SMG
-Change the AK47 to a galil, make the AK47 available for anyone(with a big edit)
-Anything more i can think of
-Re-arm all the maps to being compatible with the new guns+ammo

Oh, the next upload will come only when everything is done and mostly bug-free, and when simmy has the chance to update the fastDL. Dont want more dry-spells. So you might need a bit of time before seing a fix for the TMP

Danzor, I believe you are mis-informed. Have you used the TMP more than once?

I have.

I killed someone in 4 headshots and another in about 6-8 body shots, plus it is terribly inaccurate.
The person not screaming out when they're killed is a nice feature.

I think a good way to balance the weapon is to decrease it's firing rate. It spits out bullets like no-ones business.
I think that currently the TMP can empty a 30 round Magazine in roughly..... *Racks his brain* 2 or 3 seconds. EXTREMELY Fast, If I may say so.

Also, maps like lost temple that are under armed for innocents are abit boring now that traitors have teh TMP which is probably the most all round traitor firearm.

Just my two cents.

I think it was Danzor on Crummycradle who murdered like 5 people with the TMP without any stealth xD

Also, I know I told you on steam, but I would really appreciate it if before you add any more weapons you add icons to the future guns and the guns you've added.

Dont make the flare gun 10 shots, its far too OP. The makers of TTT on zm forums even discussed this, and four was believed to be a good value for one credit. It encourages stealth, rather than just burning everything in sight
